I am a volunteer docent at Central Library so I was able to document this location on multiple occasions throughout the year.
By sheer luck, LAPLog coincided with the LAPL 150 celebration and exhibit. I was very fortunate to attend a lecture by the curators of the exhibit, James Sherman and Christina Rice, who provided a detailed history of the creation and expansion of the branch system.
